Q. What is Live Green Toronto?

A. Live Green Toronto is a program of the City of Toronto that engages residents and businesses in actions that help green our city. The Card is one component of the Live Green Toronto program.

Q. How does the city benefit from this program?

A. The main benefits of the program are two-fold: First, we're helping to green the city by encouraging consumers to buy eco-friendly products and services. Second, we're encouraging consumers to shop at local businesses which helps grow the green economy.

Q. Why do you need my personal information and what will you do with it?

A. Your personal information is collected for the sole purpose of administering the Live Green Card program (e.g. so that we can mail you a card and send information to you about the deals you can get with your card). Q. Are you going to SPAM me?

A. No. In fact, we require your express consent to send you any e-mails at all. Each month, we will send you an e-newsletter to let you know about all the new businesses and their deals, as well as other green news and events going on in Toronto. And occasionally, we will send you an e-mail to let you know about new, extra-special, time-limited offers that you can get with your Card. You can unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time

Q. Do I have to carry my card?

A. Yes. You will have to show your card in order to get great deals on green products and services at the member businesses, so you will have to carry it with you.
